CC was down 1 with 10 secs left and fouled. Dundee missed the front end of the 1-n-1 and CC got the rebound with 8 secs left and called a timeout. Then with about 3 secs left Ed Shinevarre hit a game winning 3-pointer for the falcons.
proof that the league is down? LOL i swear you people are killing me.... 3 teams of 8 isn't bad... Your gonna tell me since CC was the only Huron League team of football to make it through playoffs and not get knocked out first set of games, that the football league is weak too? lol give me a break people. 3 teams isn't bad. Instead of dogging the teams? How bout you get off your butt and go cheer them on to win their games instead of sitting at home and hopping on the banwagon of "weak leaguers"... I swear i dont get what more you people want out of them? You want them playing like Kobe or Lebron, or any pros?? This is HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL! They're not professionals. They're not perfect. They're just teenagers and league is what it is. its far from weak, its right where it should be.

KC, I'll try to be a little more obvious when I am being sarcastic. The point is the Huron League won 3 out of a possible 5 district championships. Not bad for a league that so many on this blog believes is a "down" year.
I believe we heard the same thing on the football blog as well. I believe that when a team realizes they aren't the contender their jealousy shines through. The players and fans begin to start discrediting the teams that are winning.
That's what I've been saying. You've got 3 teams who have fought long and hard to be where their at, and instead of people downing the league because their team got knocked out, doesn't mean say the league is down, because maybe it was their team to which was down?
But yes I've really started to see jealousy shine through with those teams who are no longer contending and its sad to see.. They need to be cheering them on and hope one of the 3 teams makes it all the way instead of being debbie downers. I hope all 3 teams do well and make it far. They've all been working hard. They deserve the credit and support now.

I would take CC or Milan over Huron rite now. They are playing very well. Huron is struggleing vs. 2nd class teams that have 1 and 4 wins on the year.

huron is better than cc and milan, remember a few weeks ago when huron played at milan and beat them by 20? bet u just forgot that..
