SMCC and FR are both a lot better a home so i think those will both be double digit wins, also Jefferson and GI are we'll just say sub par...Huron has a tough game, Milan is a good team on the road, but theres not really a home crowd or gym like Milans in the entire league i think that will be a great game so Milan by 2 i would say is accurate. Airport over Riverview at the View, nice to see the jets getting some hard earned respect, i however see them winning by 6-10. That will be a great matchup, Baker vs stewart, a nie head to head people can talk about
Baker and Stewart is going to be fun to watch, Id give the Pirates an edge just because there playing at home but i wouldnt be suprised to see the jets win this one. I think Baker will win the matchup, may not score as much but he'll finish with more steals, assists, rebounds, and fewer turnovers. Baker will do his thing to help his team compete, I expect good games from Dan Jones with around 20 and i expect Spencer Smith if given the opportunity to hold Stewart below his season avg. Cant wait for this one
Milan over Huron? Milan's season stopped 6 games ago when they last versed Huron. Then gave up a loss to FR; then a 10 point game to CC; then won to a team who has yet to show their talent. Here's my picks:
Airport Vs. Riverview: This will be a close game. Kind of even on the court and probably one of the 2 better teams Airport has played this year. Riverview is no push over and Airport is actually going to have to play hard for this one. Riverview will be looking to finish off strong. Airport is still on fire. Game can go either way; whoever holds the ball more and plays better defense will win. Bucs by 2 OT.
Huron Vs. Milan: Last time I watched these 2 teams play, Milan couldn't really handle Hurons defense. All the talk about the big guys from Milan going to dunk on Huron but only dunk I saw all night that night was Richardson. Milan might want to step their game up. Their losing streak [minus jefferson] makes them look as if they're not giving it their all. I see this one in Hurons favor by 8. Huron's starting 5 are just too much on the court. Milan is going to wanna step it up.
Jefferson Vs. Flat Rock: I don't think I need to say much to this? Jefferson has lossed almost every game by 7+ with a couple double digit games. Scarton is out for blood in this one and will show everyone why he's the better one of the team. I'll say Scarton with atleast 25 points. Rams take it by 11 if Jefferson doesn't play defense.
Grosse Ile Vs SMCC: CC is going for gold in this one I think. The Devils took the last one by 7 points and I'm willing to bet CC wants to even it to 1-1 with the Devils. Look for CC to play a hard offense and to shut the Devils down on defense. I'm gonna say CC wins this by 4.
The season is coming to an end and any of these games can go any way. Good luck to all teams and play hard!
GI vs Milan was make up game from originally scheduled (cancelled twice due to snow) game from 2/9/10 then to 2/22. Game actually was played Thursday 2/25/10.
Airport @ Riverview - Jets are flying high and the Bucs are sailing along. I hate to pick this one because the Airport fans would rip me if I picked Riverview. Airport had a big win on Tuesday and I think they keep soaring in a low scoring contest. Jets 49 - Bucs 46
Huron @ Milan - WOW the way Milan has played after that loss to the Falcons. I see them getting spanked here Cheifs 66 - Big Reds 52
Jefferson @ Flat Rock - Scarton and Conner nothing to say but its Friday and Payday. Rams 58 - Bears 44.
Grosse Ile @ SMCC - Big win for the Red Devils last night major let down tonight. Look for Wetzel to drop 20-25 and get alot of help from his teamates. Falcons 71 - Red Devils 55
Huron has barely been squeaking past teams lately and i think Milans coach will get after his boys after that loss last night... Look for Milan to keep it close but Stockert will own the boards all night and have a huge game for the win...
Flat Rock 64 Jefferson 50
Jefferson wont get there first win tonight... One Word.... SCARTON
Grosse Ile 50 SMCC 58
SMCC will be firing after losing to rival Airport on tuesday... Grosse Ile is playing good but not good enough to beat the Falcons tonight
GAME OF THE DAY:
Airport 62 Riverview 58
This will be a very very good game to see... Baker vs. Stewart... Stewart is the better scorer but I think Baker is better overall player... All questions will be answered tonight... The key to winning is Jets need to win the rebounding game... they are going against the best rebounder in the league... Whoever wins rebound category will win... Jones needs to have a good game
obviously Riverview gets on here more then any other team since Stewart has more votes then Scarton and Richardson... They are all very very good players though... Im kinda surprised not to see Baker on there though
3 to Milan 3 to CC 9 to Riverview 16 to GI 15 to Jefferson 3 to FR
The last 6 games Huron has played.... You call that squeaking by? FR and CC are no push overs. Milan was a "big shot" team until this game then went down hill... Your gonna tell me they only squeak by? A win is a win. There's no squeaking by about it. Milans coach might want to get it in their head the game they play isn't over til its over and to stop looking ahead to the undefeated team.
