anybody know anything on the jv teams...milan is 1-1 in the league beat flat rock by 1 in ot and lost to r'view by 2...seem to be pretty decent Chris said huron is undefeated...weak schedule? because as freshmen they did not seem to be that talented
Hurons JV team is really good. They play hard, shoot well and HUSTLE if they don't they won't play. I think they JV coach is a motivator and can maximize the players skills on both ends of the floor.
Flat Rock, what a farce!!!did I read that in the monroe news? 1-6!!!!what is going on with FR basketball? I've been trying to keep up, while out of town.but what is the deal?? I see they are competitive with everyone. Chris can you fill me in? Can anyone fill me in?
flat rock admin. only cares about money and what the higher ups make. they do not care about sports. it's been like that for 20 plus years.Of course the bowling team is doing great.....lol. im embarrased of flat rock.Period.
I think its time for Huron to go down... and i think Airport playing at home is the team to do it... Daniel Jones and Tyler Baker have been starters on varsity for 3 years and this is the first game in their career other then playing SMCC that really means something... James Fidler had an awesome game against Grosse Ile and if it all carries on to Huron i think Airport will win a close game
I think Milan at home will be to much for Grosse Ile. Milan has been playing some good ball. Grosse Ile got trounced by Airport at home and i dont think they got the fight in them like Milan has... Which they showed last week

I think Flat Rock is going to get one here. I havent been impressed with Riverview at all this year im not a believer in Brad Stewart yet. He hasnt done anything to change my perspective. On the other hand Flat Rock has been horrible too but they are do for a good game. I see them winning a close game.
SMCC 72 Jefferson 48
I see an absolute blowout this game will not be close at all... SMCC will be looking to embaress like they got embarresed by Huron.... This game will be over in the first quarter and SMCC will keep pouring it on... Jefferson is by far worst in league so far

Huron 66 Airport 64
I think Huron will win this game but this will be one of the best games in the league this year... Airport is lead by two seniors who have started for 3 straight years and also were on varsity at the end of their freshman years... Baker and Jones... If they play really well and the shots are going down I think they can take town the MIGHT CHIEFS... but on the other hand i think Huron is to strong for them led by Richardson and Stockert and will go into Airport and win a close game...
Hopefully Huron can get this win. They bear CC by almost 30; CC beat Airport. Nuf said. Richardson is well prepared for this game along with Stockert and Tavtigan. They want this bad enough? They'll get it. Good luck boys! ill be there to root you on!
Remember, basketball is a game of matchups. Airport matches upa little better with Huron than SMCC does.
I think this will be a close game. Airport has good guard play and that should be enough to keep this game close. I think the FR game is a good exmaple to follow. Huron was the better team but good guard play kept the game in doubt.
hey rocket scientist, if you knew anything about flat rock sports, you wouldn't be responding to a previous post like you just did. you know nothing about the last 20+years at flat rock. When was the last time flat rock won a huron league championship in any sport, besides bowling maybe. Know what your talking about before you respond.
Scarton vs Stewart at point guard what? How about which one will sell there team out to get the most points. What ever team does not win the high scorer will be on that team you watch.

hurons jv got 2 new vital pieces, and they've played some really good games. Coaching has a lot to do with it as well.

Stewart was the high scorer with 27 and Riverview won. The game was not even close.
