Great back and forth game. SMCC came out a blazin' with 3's from Keenon and Edmond. Didn't take long for Ida to figure out the box and 1 would not work against SMCC. Shinenavare drained 2 long ones right off the bat. After that, Keenon took over from WAY OUT and it looked like a blowout. Ida never gave up and clawed back thanks to Vandecaveye, Spotts and Kramer. Awesome 2nd half - back and forth with SMCC surviving at the end. Both teams played well and should continue to improve as the season moves on. Both teams should do well in their respective leagues.
I believe defense and rebounding are the keys to success. But Jefferson is going to have to average more than 25 points per game!!!! I am amazed when I see their scores!!!
Wow 33 from Zak Richardson that is a lot of points... From what I have seen he has always been a scorer but this year he is CA$H... Great to see SMCC finding a way to win against a good Ida team...Shinevarre hitting the 3 gives SMCC just another weapon from deep... Jefferson is in some trouble... I dont care how good Dundee is ... you cant be losing by 32... Airport i though was going to be a close game and they won by 24... Their guard play is very good Daniel Jones had 26... This team can score on any team... Watch Scarton to dominate tonight he is do for a very good game...
Little Side not for you all... Whiteford who is in the monroe region beat Whitmore Lake 109 to 94... Brandon Albright had 42 and Jake Dupree had 33... If any team has to play this team you better be ready to play some serious defense
Huron and Richardson are rolling But Detroit Westside 1-15 last year COME ON they played the weakest schedule in the Huron League so far by far They will be tested in the League
Wetzel- 4 threes...26 points, howey 1 three 7 points..shinevarre 2 threes - 6 points...howey and shinevarre can score when needed so teams that plan on keying wetzel watch out. They may not score much but do when its important
Flat Rock 58 Trenton 55 Not a very impressive win for Flat Rock Trenton could not shot at all they were like 3-30 from 3's Trenton killed them on the boards the only rebounder was conner Scarton is the BEST ballhander in the huron league by a mile
Huron might have faced a 1-15 team, but uhm they did go 13-0[i think] last year... They've got alot of the same returning players as they did last year [only really lost the beastly 8footer lol] Expect Huron to go all out this year and try and bring back another shut out season
smcc got screwed on some missed calls at huron and lost by 2. And smcc beat huron in double digits last year @smcc. So huron did not go undefeated in the league
nice to see huron played another tuff team...

I attended the game. They were easily the quickest team Huron will face all year. This was not a gimmee game.
