Kentucky Gets 2000th Win

The University of Kentucky reached the 2000th win plateau tonight pummeling cupcake Drexel 88-44. UK is the first college program to win 2000 games.

As the Kentucky players danced around the court in celebration in their shirts that read "the greatest tradition in college basketball", I couldn't help but wonder what tradition they were talking about.

Were they talking about the great Adolph Rupp whose bigotry and racism is legendary?

Are they talking about the treatment of Tubby Smith who led the Wildcats to a National Championship in his first season and an average of 26 wins per season over 10 years?

Or are they talking about the great John Calipari who can coach with the best of them but manages to land every school he coaches at on probation just after he bolts for greener pastures.

I know winning is what it is all about in college basketball but doesn't integrity mean anything anymore? I guess down in Big Blue land it doesn't and probably never has.
