Finally it has happened!!!!!!! The counties 1st regional title since the Ernie Sellers led Dundee Viking team made it to the semifinals back in 1989. Congratulations to the golden boys. Hopefully you have lifted a big monkey of ineptitude off the backs of Monroe county basketball teams. Good luck with quarterfinals against a good Schoolcraft team. The rest of the county thanks you, and if they don't, it's pure jeolousy.
SMCC's Class of 2011 has to be one of the best athletic group of kids the school has seen in a while. My hats off to this group of young men and women, and I am proud that my son was a part of it.
Now, if the baseball coaches get a clue, the senior dominated team should have a decent season. Time will tell.
Yeah, because you know SMCC could totally beat a team like Romulus or Lincoln Park. How about you get some better competition in your preseason games too because you know it must be fun blowing teams out like Lake Erie Mason by 60. Congrats SMCC on your CLASS "C" REGIONAL TITLE:) I'm soooo jealous!
well if you are commenting on this forum, you are most likely from the monroe region or the huron league. I would be most willing to bet you are jelous of smcc because smcc was easily the best team in the region and league, and you are mad because you or your son's teams got smoked by them. Yes they played mason but they also played kzoo loy norrix, and divine child is a good team and teams like that. The reason smcc plays in class C is because they only have 400 some kids at the school. so even though you think they should "man up" and play in the A and B tournament. They never could because the MHSAA has them in class c. those schools have 1500+ and CC has 400. so why dont you take your bull**** to the MHSAA about seeing if you can get smcc moved up to A or B. let us know how it goes

Since you think your school is soooo Big and Bad how about you take yourself to MHSAA and take it up with them about how your school should be Class A or B! & Since you think you're to good for the Huron League, put yourself in the Downriver league! Then we'll see how long you last:D
