  3. Aiport Played Salem today in the woodhaven chirstmas tournament and got beat by 61.
there main problems are depth and lack of size. kyle johnson choosing not to play for some stupid reason (lazy) is really hurting them. salem absolutly owned them in the paint and this will hurt them even more come league time.
With him not playing David McCormick is going to have to have good games night in and night out just to compete at all.

  6. Well SMCC will have a tough matchup tonight against Loy Norrix. I hope they can keep the game close. If you have nothing to do you should come watch Norrix play, they are down right NASTY. Shinevarre and Wetzel will need help from the post players of Wilson and Brown to be in this game. The house will be packed so get there early to get a seat. Loy Norrix 65 SMCC 48

  7. Interesting game tonight at SMCC;
SMCC vs. Kalamazoo Lox-Norrix at 7:00pm.
K L-N is undefeated with quality wins.

  8. I'm planning on going down there. This game can only help SMCC get better.

  10. I attended the SMCC/Loy Norrix game last night. Loy Norrix has an exceptional team with size, speed, talent and discipline. With that said, the Falcons looked very good. They too have size, talent and discipline. Maybe not as quick or fast as other teams but they have a very good team. SMCC has a great chance at winning the league and with the Class C tourney taking them west a very legitimate chance at reaching the Breslin for a semi-final birth. Obviously a long way off but very possible.

  11. how about those bigreds. cj turnage and andre duffin are having a good year so far andd they havent even started playing that well yet.

  12. They played one good team and got killed. Milan is ok at best.

  13. Milan isnt looking to bad. Defense has imrpoved alot from last year. RiverView and NBH will have their hands full with the back court pressure they provide. im predicting milan to beat riverview and lose to NB. cj and andre will have 16 points each.

  16. Flat Rock's win over Carlson looks pretty impressive after the Marauders defeated Wyandotte Roosevelt last night.

  17. Chris if you're are trying to say that Flat Rock will hold their own against Riverview you are very wrong

  18. I wasn't saying that at all. I was saying that FR's win over Carlson looks better than first thought.

Obviously, basketball is a game of match ups and that is what most likely happened in each of those games.

I will say this though, FR is better than everyone thought. Their quick, pretty athletic and they are playing to their strengths. Tim Cottingim if a very good player.

  19. If Montiy can contain kowalski they will win!!
    how about that!!!

  20. Chris, I don't get it. How can one deduce what the poster at 3:06 tried to claim? I must be a moron, b/c I get that what you were trying to say is that Flat Rock is better than many, including myself pegged them to be. How Riverview got brought into it confuses me. Flat Rock this year is running some nice things, and Cottingim and Wade have played superb thus far.

Riverview only lost by 15.. & Milan lost by 35.. I find that being a huge difference. Get your stats right man.

  23. Chirs you talk in circles my man. Get your story straight!

  24. Riverview lost by 15 and without a pg.

  25. To your circles comment: you play both sides of the fence and act like you know what your talking about. How about you not delete my comment next time and it could of been self-explanatory;)

  26. I'm not sure what comment your talking about but if you throw a student under the bus I won't post it.

As for playing both sides of the fence I have no idea what your talking about. Please give me an example.

  29. Riverview beat Airport by 16 tonight!

  30. SMCC and Grosse Ile went into overtime tied 45-45... CC won 58-50 in the end

  31. Big Reds beat Riverview convincingly. Held them to 2pts one quarter...held NB Huron to 2pts one quarter...without CJ both games. Both top scorers for those schools were shut down. It sounds and looks like Milan has a "Team" and not one or two good players. The hate that Milan has received (from the HATERS...you know who you are)...has been a great motivater for the program. Keep "HATING" and watch the Big Reds keep winning. Milan and Riverview lost to a class A state ranked team. Hats off to both programs for stepping up to the challenge and not worrying about a possible loss to their record. One day, maybe, your programs will have the courage to do so. You won't get better playing inferior talent. Good luck to all!

  32. ^ I agree with the post by January 18,2011 @ 10:32 AM. These other teams need to step it up and actually play some competition.. Props to Milan and Riverview!

  33. Milan was almost beat friday night by Grosse Ile... A team that has potential but I'm sure we all agree is mediocre... they couldn't handle Grosse Ile's zone so if I was another team I would bring the zone to the Big Reds
