  1. I will cast the first stone...The Huron league will have a different look this year as far as the standings. You will find Flat Rock and Airport at the bottom of the standings. We will see Rivrview, Huron, Milan and SMCC switching places weekly at the top of the standings. Grosse Ile and Jefferson should improve as the year prolongs and could throw in a few upsets along the way. It should be exciting everytime any of these eight teams battle on the court.

    Prseason 1st team

    MVP-Duffin

Brad Stewart, Edmond Shinevarre, Will Brennan, Robbie White, Mike Kowalski, Dan Harras, and Jake Sterling

  2. Its a shame Mr.Roecker stepped down as the ol ball coach, I dont know if Marino can fill his big shoes. I know Marino is a teacher at Airport and teaching and coaching at the same school is a big plus. But I just feel that Monroe high school with its 2,000 kids and plenty of African American talent that it would be a better coaching job. Airport is NOT a destination coaching stop. It stinks that Marino is going to coach at a school which has a mostly bare cupboard, McCormick is a beast, Jake Collert is a boss but thats about all. Lazy Kyle Johnson quit for lord knows what reason. Hopefully Marino does ok. Roecker was a laid back players ballcoach and I feel that Marino will come in guns blazing gungho, we will see how the players respond to his tenacity and aggression.

  3. Dude the Huron league is going to be boring this year. No Tyler Baker, No Andrew Scarton, No Zac Richardson, No Keenan Wetzel, No David Stockert, No Jeremy Pidgeon, No Joe Conner. The best players have moved on.

  4. Huron will have a shot at that title 3 years running. Will Brennan, Nick Corbiel, Jesse Wint, Justin and Jordan Vangieson.. Solid starting line up if you ask me. Huron will miss Richardson, because he was a solid player, but they got these 5 to take up for losing CT, Weclowski, and Richardson.

  5. Look for davaun posey to have a nice year, very good player.

  6. Look for SMCC to standout and Milan/Riverview to be right behind, too early to pick a front runner-gotta see a couple games first; league keeps getting weaker every year

  7. omg what is wrong with you people...you must not have seen milans roster this year or seen them play in a while....*shakes head* they will simply destroy every team.

  8. its easy to "destroy" every team when you recruit....

  9. The league will be less exciting this year due to the loss of all those good players besides joe conner he was average at best, he just happened to play with a very very good point guard!!! There isnt a complete team like huron last year so theres going to be a few of split series between the top teams with Huron Milan and Riverview at the top
