Flat Rock's Andrew Scarton scored his 1000th point in his final varsity game.
Milan wins it's first district title since 1996 after finishing the regular season at 9-11.
SMCC advances to the Regional Finals under 1st year head coach Randy Windham.

Huron's Jim Kalbfleisch voted AP Class B Coach of the Year.
Scarton had an awesome season, to bad Flat Rock didn't go farther though. But Brad Stewart should be nice to watch play next year, wouldn't you say?

ReplyDeleteare you going to write something team for team soon?
ReplyDeleteIt seams more and more like some of Huron BB coaches where way off with there MVP and Coach of the year.Free press has boys BB All State. Richardson made second team and scarton made sith team.Thats a big differense from second team to the last team.Plus kalby got coach of the year by everyone but his league. You would exspect better from adults coaching school sports.
ReplyDeleteMaybe those (league coaches) who actually saw the players and the the coach are more informed. The all-state/AP voting is typically done by people who only hear the names - not actually watch the games.
ReplyDeleteNot the answer you were looking for (obviously) but those are the facts.
3 guys on the freep all state teams....pretty good for the huron league...congrats to all three
