College Updates

What's the word? Has anyone from the league committed to play college ball? I have been out of the loop.

    Wetzel is considering Sieana Heights and D1 Valperaiso (spelling) in Indiana.

    I spoke to both Andrew Scarton and Zac Richardson this weekend.

    Scarton is going to play at Owens Community College in Toledo. He has a two year full ride.

    Richardson has yet to decide where he is going. He has a preferred walk-on offers from two DII schools. He has scholarship offers from multiple NAIA schools and would probably play both basketball and soccer at all of them.

    Is Wetzel a walk-on? He has to be. A nice player by Huron standards but not a D1 recruit.

    To answer your question Anonymous yes, I believe Wetzel is a preferred walk-on at Valpo.
