Best Player in the League?

Give me your opinions on the best player in the league. Several good players return to the league this year. Obviously, the reigning player of the year returns in Andrew Scarton from Flat Rock. Who are some others?

I have some ideas and opinions but would like to see some suggestions. Let's Here it. Give some players and why.

  1. Scarton is not the best player in the huron league this year at all

  2. Some guys I like this season are:
    Scarton - FR
    Wetzel - SMCC
    Jones - Airport
    Richardson - Huron
    Kawalski - Riverview
    Stockart - Huron
    Teen - GI

  5. Both Returning Varsity Basketball Players to watch out for from Jefferson:

McCullough - 6" 4' Center Jefferson Tough on the inside and plays big.
Sterling - 6" 2' Point Guard Jefferson handles the ball well.
Boring - 5" 10' Forward Jefferson - excellent outside shooter.
Oley - 6" 3' Forward Jefferson - if he returns will be an excellent addition. Rumors have it both ways. He plays with a lot of heart and has good vision on the court.

  7. YOU GUYS ALL OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HURON LEAGUE BASKETBALL!!!
Yes SCARTON is the best player in the league no question he is ranked nationally as a point guard... Dex Teen is very good can shoot and handle it... Wetzel from SMCC can flat out shoot... and Dan Jones can shoot... But how come Baker from Airport hasnt been mentioned once???
He does a very good job of handling the ball for AIRPORT... Yes Daniel Jones made first team all league cuz he scored a lot... every game i saw airport play he stood at the 3 point line and waited for baker to draw people off him so he could shoot... Im just saying some time the best players and the most important players to the team sit in the shadow of people who arent half as good as them

  11. Watch out for CJ Luvene on Milan's squad. A transfer from Lincoln.

Shinevarre was SMCC's JV point guard. He is a good shooter, and understands the game very well, but I think his size will prevent him from being a real impact player.

  12. Tavtigian and Richardson should be a dominating backcourt

  13. I would rather have Scarton and Conner

  14. i would want conner only if he stayed on the defensive side of the court.

  15. thats true, conner is not a strong offensive threat, but a great defender, so if conner shot the ball a lot, i would much rather have richardson playing on my team for me. Conner needs to know his role on flat rocks team if they want to be any good, he needs to play defense and score EASY buckets and stop trying to be "d-crain", schoen will get a lot of boards, scarton will be doing most of the scoring, and kobylasz will be shooting the three ball. If these players do THESE things and only these things, throw in people scoring east buckets with scartons assists, then flat rock will be a handful in the huron league this year.

  16. Which starting backcourt would you guys rather have?

    Huron- C. Tavtigan-Z. Richardson
    Flat Rock- A. Scarton-R. Kobylasz
    Airport- D. Jones-T. Baker
    Riverview-B. Stewert-A. White

Me? id either want Hurons, or flat rocks, put in a good point gaurd with a good outside shooter, good things can happen.

  18. Dont forget about tyler weclowski from huron. he started all last year for huron at small forward. He is a very strong defender, he won a couple games for huron late in the game with his defense. ask andrew scarton about him he will know

  19. The Huron League will be tough, I see at least three league loses for who ever wins it. Monroe CC will be better at least funner to watch. Riverview will be solid Jefferson will be good Huron and Favored Flat Rock. Wow Thats why we play the games
